Titus attended Golcar Baptist Church and Sunday School. He was a member of the Boys Brigade and Golcar Conservative Club.
He had been home on leave on one occasion. He was stationed at Ormskirk and was admitted to the Sparrow Hall Military Hospital, Liverpool, on the morning of Saturday 11th January suffering from diphtheria. He died just after midnight.
His name appears on the Roll of Honour at Golcar Baptist Church and St. John's Church, Golcar.
