Killed in action: 21st July 1918. Aged 18.

Commemorated on the Soissons Memorial to the Missing. Aisne. France.

Wright was educated at Stile Common Council School, and was employed in the family business run by his father.

He was reported missing and presumed to have been killed near Rheims on the above date.

His name appears on the Roll of Honour in St. John's Church, Newsome and St. John's Church, Golcar.
