Died: 20th October 1918. Aged 31.

 

Emma received a war pension of 20s/5d per week for her and the children, dated from 19th May 1919.

Arthur was in the 62nd Division and on 20th Oct 1918, along with the 2/4th Battalion they were involved in an attack on St. Python and Solemnes. Brigade HQ and the reserve Company were positioned at Quievy for the attack, where the cemetery was subsequently positioned. It contains the graves of 191 casualties.

 

His name appears on the Roll of Honour at St. John's Church, Golcar.
