Born 1897 in Rishworth.

 

Brother of Horace and Louis.

Reported missing, presumed dead: 9th October 1917. Aged 20.

Louis embarked for France on New Year's Day 1917. In March 1917 he was brought to Bradford wounded and suffering from trench feet. He returned to France on 7th July 1917 and was reported missing presumed killed in October.

 

Louis was a cornet player in Milnsbridge Socialist Brass Band and attended St. Church. Michael's Mission Church. His name appears on the Roll of Honour in St, John's
