Killed in action: Sunday 13th October 1918. Aged 23.

Wilfred was educated at Scapegoat Hill Council School and attended Scapegoat Hill Baptist Chapel, where his name appears on the Roll of Honour.
His two brothers, Allen and Sutcliffe were also killed in action the same year.
