Died: 12th October 1917. Aged 19.

The cemetery is situated 3km west of Bapaume, France.
Norris embarked for France in June 1917. He was wounded in the legs, shoulder and head on 10th October and died from his wounds at No. 3 Canadian Casualty Clearing Station two days later.
He attended Crimble Congregational Mission and is listed on the Roll of Honour in St. John's Church, Golcar.
